Job responsibilities:

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living like feeding, showering, toileting, elimination and transfer of clients.
• Active participation and assistance in carrying out assigned individual care plans of clients as in a multi-disciplinary team.
• Conduct individual and small group activities as planned by clinicians or supervisor.
• Assist with the dietary requirements and setting up of meals for the clients, and assist with the preparation of food in compliance with good hygiene and safety standards (example: cutting, blending, reheating).
• Assist clinicians in the care of clients like vital signs monitoring, and remind clients to take their medications when required.
• Escorting clients between the centre and other destinations with or without transport.
• Maintain cleanliness and conduct disinfection of the premises, which includes equipment, furniture and tools, when required.
• Proper documentation and safekeeping of centre records.
• Assist with basic housekeeping duties such as cleaning and clearing of body discharges and waste disposal.
• Adherence to audits, centre policies and training.
• Provide cross-coverage to colleagues or deployment to other centres when the need arises.

Job requirements:

• Min. WSQ Certificate in Healthcare Support (Nursing Care) or relevant certification in Healthcare
• Min. 1 year experience in healthcare will be advantageous.
• Experience in working with elderly settings will be advantageous
• Willing to work staggered shifts according to centre operating hours
